Adult & Child Orthodontics with bonded brackets and wires

ibraces bonded to the inside of teeth

In addition to Invisalign™, we offer tradition orthodontics utilizing bonded brackets and wires. These are commonly called braces. Over a period of months, the wires are changed and adjusted, gradually applying enough force to move the teeth. Orthodontics is for patients, both adults and children, who have crowded or crooked teeth, spaces between their teeth or misaligned teeth. Orthodontic therapy can help reduce the risk of tooth decay, gum disease, and trauma.

The American Association of Orthodontics recommends that every child have an evaluation by 7 years of age. Often, corrective measures can be taken early in a child's oral development. While some patients require comprehensive orthodontics to improve the health and appearance of their smile, minor orthodontics, performed in less than six months, can often enhance a smile cosmetically.
